Hi, I’m Makenzie!

I’m Makenzie, a Holistic Nutritionist specializing in Hormone Health, and the founder of Wellness By Makenzie—a space dedicated to helping women achieve vibrant health through balanced nutrition, mindful movement, and sustainable wellness practices.

With an M.S. in Nutritional Science and a background in Biology, Nutrition, and Food Science, I’ve spent years studying the science of women’s health. I spent years navigating painful periods, mood swings, and battling with my hormones. When I started grad school, I knew I had to research alternative methods to managing these symptoms—that weren't more pills. My thesis focused on managing menstrual discomfort through diet and nutrition, and now, I’m applying that knowledge to help women take charge of their health in ways that feel realistic, nourishing, and truly effective.
